Special Qualities
Terrifying Croak Once per hour as a standard action, a boggard can emit a thunderous croak. Any creature not of its subtype must make a successful Will saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 the user’s character level + the user’s Charisma modifier) or become shaken for 1d4 rounds. A target that successfully saves cannot be affected by the boggard’s terrifying croak for 24 hours. Creatures that are already shaken become frightened for 1d4 rounds instead. This is a sonic, mind-affecting effect.

Special Gear Conversions
Masamune This +4 bastard sword is enchanted bane quality, with the designated foe of magic-users. This only includes arcane magic-users such as wizards and sorcerors, but does not include divine magic users such as clerics.

Green Cape This iconic green cape acts as a cloak of resistance +3.

Frog’s Belt This belt acts as a belt of giant strength +2

Blue Gloves These blue gloves that Frog wears acts as gauntlets of skilled maneuver, which give Frog a +2 to disarm opponents.

Designer’s Notes I’m aware that his AC seems low. I attempt to keep as true to the actual characters as he can, and sometimes in translation, keeping equipment accurate means that, such as in Frog’s case, there is a statistic that doesn’t hit exactly the right cord. It was a hard decision, but I decided that Frog’s strength was much more prescient in Chrono Trigger than his ability to dodge or absorb attacks.
